She is a daughter of the honory price stallion Oddur frá Selfossi, an old stallion here in Iceland which has given many famous horses like Þóroddur frá Þóroddsstöðum and Stelpa frá Meðalfelli, the mother of the highest judged horse in the world Spuni frá Vesturkoti. It is hard to find offsprings from Oddur for sale, unfortionatly he is not given any offsprings anymore.
The mother of Þerna frá Kjarri is the first price mare Þruma frá Selfossi wich has given 7 first price offsprings!!!
There is no Orri blood in Þernas pedigree.
Þerna is a very beautiful mare with 8,20 for conformation, 8,5 for neck, proportions and quality of the legs and her special color palomino.
She is preganant with the 4 year old fullbrother of Álfasteinn frá Selfossi, Álfarinn frá Syðri-Gegnishólum. He received this year just 4 years old first price. This stallion will go very high in breeding the next years. The combination between an Oddurdaughter and the fullbrother to Álfasteinn frá Selfossi is very interesting, the offspring next year will be very close relaed to Spuni frá Vesturkoti.
